Jerod Stidham - Co Head Coach


Jerod Stidham was named the Pioneers' head softball coach in August of 2018.

Stidham, returns to Western with 12 years of collegiate coaching experience after serving as an assistant coach at Texas Womans University from 2013-2018, head coach at Western Oklahoma State College from 2003-2006 and assistant coach/hitting instructor at the University of Central Oklahoma from 1999-2002.

Stidham posted a 108-82 overall record at Western Oklahoma State including the two most successful winning seasons in school history in 2003 and 2004. He coached three NJCAA All-Americans and four Academic All-Americans.

In 2002, Stidham helped coach UCO to its first appearance in the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament. The Bronchos tied a then-school record in wins with 35.

Stidham earned his bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a minor in Business Administration in 2001 and a master’s degree in Education in 2003, both from UCO. He is married to Western Softball Coach Genny Stidham and they have a daughter, Allie, and a son, Connor.
